Casa Alessandra
As I already wrote about the Riviera Ulisse, here is a mysterious house we found with my mom, right near the National Park, in a magical and a bit spooky forest. Practically there is a Bed and Breakfast, in the big house where the family lives, and a small cottage, built and designed by the owners themselves.
The House
The main house is so cozy and warm, thanks to the use of wood, rock and warm colours.
Fulled with many, too many tiny little objects and precious souveniers collected all around the world gives the interiors a bit gypsy-like impression, tasty although.
I liked the fact that the house was full of different plants, it gave the whole thing a very fresh look.
The Cottage
And then, there's the cottage. It's all covered with green- I love how the cromatics of grey rock and tree section melt together. The terrace on more levels is a clever solution, as the whole space seems more vibrant and bigger.
Big windows manage to illuminate the rooms as much as it's possible, as the house is all covered with trees.
The yellow touch gives the whole room a very serene air. And the presence of a smooth touch of arabic style gives the living-room that cool marrocco-like lounge air, which is so typical for the mediterranean villas. In the evening it's definetelly very romantic, with a warm candle-light and good lounge music (a la Cafe del Mar).
The Garden
Outside, between the two houses, there's a huge terrace where you can enjoy romantic intimate dinner or a nice crowdy cocktail party. Infact they often throw some very exclusive v.i.p parties with some of the most famous italian actors and showbiz-men.
The use of the small details is what makes the house and the garden so special and cute, for example the lanterns hung up on the wall, or all the small flower pots.
And once in a while some small, empty, totally new boats flow near their bridge- not bad, huh?
