Baby you can drive my car

Four more hours.. and I'll be in the car, driving under the heating sun (well not that the sun is heating four o'clock in the morning but you get the point) for more than ten hours towards my paradise destination... I'm happy I'm going somewhere and that "going" does not imply an airplane plus car trips have always been fun for me. A few years ago I went on an Euro trip: we started from Tallinn and ended up in Monte Carlo, we passed 12 countries in 2 and a half weeks, it was something I will never forget. Next thing to do would be a car-trip in the U.S. , just like in the movies.. Oh yes, am I a lover of clichès ;) Anyway, I prepared my playlist with some cool summer hits so we won't get bored during the ride and my bags are also packed, so this means good night!

PS! In your opinion which are this summer's hits?

Riviera Ulisse

Photobucket

Okay, so it seems I managed to resolve a few of my dilemmas and here I am blogging, this time with less desperation.. hah. So today I managed to upload some of the pictures I made on vacation in Riviara Ulisse. It's only 1h and 30min of a car ride from Rome. It's not so known for turists but the italian, especially the roman elitè, likes to spend their summer here. Starting with a small town called Sabaudia and ending with Gaeta, this wild coastal area is full of small luxury villas and V.I.P properties.

On the map I marked the most loveliest towns amongst the ones I've visited so far and though they are so near, each single one of them has a totally different history and architecture. I love them all for different things, like for example the best beaches are in Sabaudia, Terracina represents the heart of nightlife of this coast with it's super beach parties and cool bars, Sperlonga's white oldtown is definitely the most beautiful and Gaeta with it's incredible sea grotto beats them all when talking about nature wonders, plus let's not mention it's historical importance. But I will post you pictures of them all later because now I wanted to share with you my latest discovery - Sermoneta, a lovely medieval town up in the hills. No long chit chat, just check out some pictures.

There is also a lovely castle but I didn't have the time to upload those photos. I'll do it as soon as I'll be back. Hope you enjoyed this small virtual tour;)

Post about Riviera Ulisse will continue - Sabaudia, Terracina, San felice Circeo, Sperlonga and Gaeta...

Stay tooned!

A real dilemma!

This is a desperation post! I call it a desperation post because I'm in a total lack of time, inspiration and quality but as I have already abbandoned my dear blog for a while and now the guilt has grown way up on me! I usually resist but one exception won't do bad as tomorrow I'll be leaving the city again for two weeks and that means I'll be cut out of "civilization". But this isn't the only reason for my desperation: first) I was just called from Vilebrequin, the boutique I worked for last summer, and they asked me, A DAY BEFORE MY DEPARTURE, if I'd like to go work with them again this summer, starting off from tomorow. I felt like crying as it was a great job and if only I'd knew it before I would have scheduled my vacation differently... too bad, I'm going in Salento!! (google Pescoluse). And the second problem which I'm facing is very very serious - laugh at me or not, but it's driving me crazy: should I take more clothes or less clothes with me? Okay, I'm obviously joking.. Less it is. So if I won't be able to post something else this evening.. (something less desperate) I wish you all a golden summer for the next two weeks.

Kisses

The Beach Party

Photobucket

Finally I'm able to post about the party! These past two weeks have been quite crazy, I had my parents from Estonia here, they rented a lovely summer house at the beach side in Riviera Ulisse, (I've posted about it here in past too, chek out!), and so I spended some time with them. Now I'm finally back in Rome but I'll be gone already on Thursday, we're going in Salento in South-Italy for two weeks.. So I think I must officially say I'm going to be gone this summer and there won't be much of intense blogging.. :(

Now, about the party. We arrived at Ladispoli, a small cittadina near Rome, which I personally find very lovely. It was the safest place to have a falò (beach party). It was also my classmate Gaia's birthday (she's the one on the picture above) so she presented herself with all the food and stuff, we teased her by calling her a scout (she hates scouts).

There are no more photos as actually we were too busy enjoying the fire and the chit chat and the moon and the sea and everything else.. so excuse me for the bad quality of the photos, but I honestly didn't force myself much;)
Beach party is really a must in the summer, make sure you'll go on a one this summer!

Here's to Summer!

Ciao dolci miei! (my sweeties) I know it's been a while for now that I haven't been blogging seriously but school is finally over (officially tomorrow) and now I'll have all the time to post!!! I'm really excited about this summer, it promises to be one of the best ever, I wouldn't have expected though.. Summer starts for me already tonight- a friend of mine has a concert and then tomorrow night another friend of mine is playing with his band, tomorrow during the day time I'll be going at the beach to get some colour on my pale skin and then on Monday evening... we organized (me & my classmates) a beach party! I'm so happy because it's the second year we've been all together and we have never ever before managed to do something all together. It was quite hard in the beginning to get all of us together but we did it! So here's a little flayer I did, just to put some more excitement in the event and I hope I'll manage to take some cool pictures to post of the party here too.

(the boys went crazy for it, the girls didn't get it. I just imporvised by surfing amongst my fashion shoot "bank", this one is featuring Sasha Pivovarova for Vogue, I belive photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, and I love it!)

Besides all the vacations (which still are only theorically planned) and stuff I'll be dedicating all my time on painting, drawing, sketching, photographing and on all other things which imply creativity. Ohh.. I really can't wait, so we'll see, I hope to treat you with some real eye-candy on this blog!

How does your Summer promise to be?
